Show Notes

Who is that group of experts venturing out into dangerous territory? Why, it’s Logan, Andy, and Joe! And what is their mission? SAVING MATT DAMON.

In honor of the nearly 30 years (and countless millions of dollars) Hollywood has dedicated to bringing Damon home from far-off peril, and just in time for his latest misadventure in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, your hosts have teamed up with Joe Shearer (Midwest Film Journal) to embark on three previous Damon-centric operations: Saving Private Ryan (1998), Interstellar (2014), and The Martian (2015). How is each role emblematic of their respective eras in Damon’s career? Does one make better use of his talents than the rest? And which Damon is most worthy of saving? Find out on this expeditious new episode of ODD TRILOGIES!
